Full automatic control – Automatic control (CA), automatically controlled equipment and processes

Control of the brewhouse is controled by operator from main control panel with vizualization program. For automatic control are in every part of the brewhouse prepared panels with elements for control of desired program.

Operator has available technology vizualization, displayed of current condition of motors, valves which are color marked.

For frequency controlled drives: agitator (s), rake gear, pumps, the current speed is displayed in %. Also current values of inductive flow meters for water and wort are displayed, as well as the content level of each brew vessel.

Implementation of the program is possible in case of failure, interrupted and run on manual control. Then operator can program set up to the desired step and continue in automatic mode.

Program records all data to the trend and archives all failures. Control system of the brewhouse is controled by recipe of beer.

Operator before starting the brew has to choose desired recipe of beer, which has all parameters for every single part of production.

Automatic system also offers an easy to organise beer recipe management. This enables flexibility to breweries with a high numbers of different beer types to brew.

Following processes are automated according to the discribtion. Some steps optionally can be or have to be confirmed before process proceeding for example: confirmation of starting the milling system, removal of spent grain, confirmation of transfering the wort to wort cooler and to fermentation tank.

  • Malt discharge from silo (if quoted), big bag station, small hopper, milling, malt conveying to mash tun
  • Automatic mashing process, program will ensured mixing of water for desired temperature and will measured volume according recipe of beer. At the same time during mashing is ensured transportation of malt from grist case to mash tun. Program will controlled temperature of water and running of transport way
  • Program includes also control for automatic decoction and infusion way of mashing. In case of decoction way of mashing has program needed steps for heating, heating of sugar temperatures, boiling of mash, pumping of mash forward /backward and rinsing of vessels
  • Operator can choose 1,2 and 3 mash ways. Operator only confirms end of pause on saccharification after sampling mash
  • Lautering process is automatic and consist of following: program will filled water under the sieve according flow meter, will filled mash to lauter tun, program controls pumping of young wort back to lauter tun according by flow and finishing of set up time or operator, program controls cleaning of sieve by way of cyclic rinsing
  • Program controls wort boiling in wort kettle
  • Full automatic wort heating and boiling , Rregulation of temperatures ( mash tun, wort kettle, hot water tank, water in water mixer and wort on the outlet from wort cooler)
  • Program controls whirpool process and transfer of wort to wort cooler and to fermentation tank
  • Program controlls CIP process of brewhouse based on pre set operations
  • Program controls frequency convertors (fluent regulation rpm: mash pump, young worth pump, wort pump, cold and hot water pump, stirrer in mash tun and rake of lauter tun, electro valves of inlet of the water)
  • Program will ensure acustic signaling if there is some error
